Hard-hitting Holy Cross DB Mark Balestracci brings a veteran’s feel and downhill edge
Mark Balestracci’s profile is built on reliability, physical tackling, and football IQ—he’s shown up in Holy Cross game notes as a defender who can stack tackles, including an eight-tackle outing against Yale in the 2005 season[3]. The differentiator is the kind of DB impact that doesn’t always shout in a box score: trusted positioning, contact willingness, and a steady defensive presence that fits a disciplined, assignment-sound secondary[3].
