Ashton Thomas brings size and interior grit to ACU’s defensive front
Ashton Thomas is a big-bodied interior defender for Abilene Christian, listed at 6-2, 320, and his profile suggests the kind of plug-the-gap DT who can matter more by controlling space than piling up splashy numbers. In the most recent stat snapshot available, he had 1 tackle, 3 assisted tackles, and 0.0 sacks, which points to a role centered on eating blocks and helping stabilize the middle of the line rather than chasing highlight stats. His blend of size, leverage, and physicality makes him a useful fit for teams wanting a sturdy run defender with room to develop into a more disruptive interior presence.
