Two-way grit for UVU, with strikeout pop and real utility
In the 2026 season, Utah Valley’s Ella Miller has been a valuable two-way piece, highlighted by an eight-strikeout Opening Day win over UTEP, a complete game against Drake, and a six-inning win over Weber State. She gives UVU lineup flexibility as a right-handed pitcher and infielder, and her early-college résumé points to poise, competitiveness, and stamina rather than just stuff. She also arrived with strong high-school credentials, including leading 5A in ERA (1.47) and strikeouts, which suggests a pitcher who can miss bats and handle pressure. If you want a versatile arm with upside and toughness, she’s worth a hard look.
