Calen Graham brings proven strikeout upside and a heavy-usage arm to UTRGV’s rotation
In the 2023 season, Graham was a Northwoods League co-MVP after posting a 5-2 record, 2.04 ERA, and team-leading 48 strikeouts in 53 innings, which shows the kind of durability and swing-and-miss ability coaches covet[7]. His 2024 college season at Texas State was more uneven—7.88 ERA in 16.0 innings—but he still flashed upside with nine strikeouts, including a three-K outing against No. 15 Texas[2]. The fit is strongest for a team that values a competitive right-hander with proven bat-missing stuff and starter-level workload history[7][2].
