a 6-3 local center whose game was built on size, toughness and production
Averi Gamble is a 6-3 center from Mount Pleasant who starred at Sacred Heart, where she led the team to a Class D state title and earned AP Class D Player of the Year honors in 2015-16 after scoring 1,267 career points[1][8]. At Central Michigan, her profile is all about interior presence, rebounding and physicality, but her listed college production was limited, so the bigger story is the foundation she brings: proven winning pedigree, local roots and a rugged inside game that can fit a team needing paint defense and board work[1][4].
