Corey Smith brings disruptive size and edge-setting power to ACU’s defensive front
Smith is a 6-1, 248-pound defensive end for Abilene Christian whose most useful calling card is physical, assignment-sound play on the edge, with 16 tackles in his ACU roster bio and a career-high three tackles in one game showing he can contribute in rotation and on run support. He fits best for teams that want a sturdy, high-motor defender who can hold contain and do the dirty work rather than just chase splash stats, but the available public info is limited and does not show recent impact numbers, so his current value is easier to project as a role player than as a proven high-end producer.
