Denzell Watts brings steady backup-point-guard value at UAB
Watts has been a reliable **floor general** for UAB, with a 6-foot-2, 207-pound frame and a reputation for doing the little things that help a team function cleanly at the guard spot.[3][7] UAB described him as a backup point guard who stepped up in Conference USA play, and his stat line in a road game at FIU showed a balanced blend of defense and playmaking with 6 points, 4 assists, 2 rebounds and 1 block.[7][2] He looks like the kind of fit coaches trust when they want toughness, composure, and a team-first approach over flash.[5][3]
