Jackson Nash was Longwood’s late-inning weapon in 2026 before the Rangers came calling
In the 2026 season, Jackson Nash emerged as a high-leverage right-handed reliever for Longwood, posting a 4-2 record, one save, and a 4.26 ERA over 44.1 innings while striking out 59 and walking just 18; he also flashed swing-and-miss upside with a nine-strikeout, four-inning gem and earned Big South Relief Pitcher of the Week honors plus National Pitcher of the Year watchlist recognition. The 6-foot-6, 235-pound arm brings power stuff, strike-throwing, and bullpen versatility, and his quick rise — capped by a 12th-round MLB Draft selection — says this is a pitcher who can change a game fast.
