Northwestern’s walk-on-turned-gametime grinder
Zalewski’s Northwestern story is all about earned minutes, toughness, and doing the little things right: in the 2020-21 season, the 6-foot guard made his collegiate debut, logged an assist against Arkansas Pine-Bluff and added two rebounds plus an assist versus Quincy. He was a high-academic, all-conference high school captain who helped Stevenson win a state title, and that background shows in his team-first, detail-heavy profile. If you value reliability, effort, and a player who knows his role, he fits the mold; if you need a high-usage scorer, this is not that guy.
