Hampton LB Ja’Wan Poole brings veteran edge and coach-like football IQ
Ja’Wan Poole’s value is less about flashy box-score volume and more about dependable linebacker traits: physicality, responsibility, and a mature football mindset. A Hampton alum who previously played outside linebacker and started five games as a freshman, he brings a seasoned, coach-developed feel for the game and a strong understanding of assignments, leverage, and communication. He looks like a fit for a team that wants a steady, disciplined defender who can handle multiple roles and won’t get rattled by the moment.
