Jah'mar Sexton brings proven ball production and tackling punch to Southeastern Louisiana
Sexton looks like a high-floor defensive back: Southeastern Louisiana lists him as a DB, and his profile notes a huge 137-tackle sophomore season at Sierra College plus 16 pass breakups, 11 tackles for loss and 2 sacks — production that signals range, physicality and disruptive instincts rather than just coverage speed. He also has a history as a playmaker in the secondary dating back to high school, which adds to the case that he can fit as a versatile, aggressive defender who helps against both the run and the pass.
