Brandon West brings old-school rebounding and paint presence to Jackson State
Brandon West was a force for Jackson State in the 2013-14 season, averaging 12.7 points and 10.0 rebounds while ranking as the SWAC’s only double-figure rebounder; he also added efficient scoring inside and strong interior production for a 6-foot-10 center. His calling card was physicality on the glass, rim protection, and a steady double-double profile that makes him the kind of big man who can change possession battles. For a team needing toughness, rebounding, and reliable paint scoring, that’s a pretty attractive package.
