Veteran LB Ready to Bring Discipline and Special-Teams Edge to San Jose State
Ryan Goforth is a depth-and-discipline linebacker for San Jose State who fits the mold of a reliable, assignment-sound defender rather than a flashy stat-sheet stuffer. In his 2014 San Jose State season, he appeared in six games as a reserve linebacker and special-teams contributor, recording one tackle. The key takeaway is fit: he profiles as a hard-working, physical, low-mistake player who can help on coverage units and provide stability in the linebacker room—useful if your team values toughness, preparation, and role acceptance over headline-grabbing production.
