seasoned guard with a steady, efficient all-around game
Lakeita Chappel brings veteran guard experience to Morehead State, and in the 2019-20 season she averaged 4.0 points, 0.7 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 15.8 minutes per game while shooting 36.4% from the field[1][6]. The clean takeaway: she’s a low-drama, high-IQ backcourt piece who can handle the ball, make simple reads, and give a coach reliable minutes without forcing the action[1][3]. Her profile reads more “connector” than volume scorer, which makes her useful if a team needs composure, effort, and structure over flash[3][7].
