UIW OL Josh Esukpa: a physical, disruptive trench piece with real pass-rush pop
Josh Esukpa brings impact-play upside from the interior/edge of the UIW front, with game tape showing he can wreck drives by creating negative plays and finishing sacks—highlighted by a four-tackle, 2.0-TFL, 1.5-sack outing against Texas College and another sack vs. Houston Baptist. [1] The differentiator is his disruption: he’s not just eating blocks, he’s producing splash plays, which makes him attractive for teams seeking an aggressive, high-motor lineman who can tilt protection and elevate the line’s physicality.
