Texas Tech’s Efficient Sixth-Player Star with Elite Shooting and Conference Honors
Lauren Mitchell, a Texas Tech Lady Raiders standout, averaged 11.2 PPG, 5.7 RPG, and shot 51.2% FG last season, earning Mountain West Conference Sixth Player of the Year honors[1]. Her differentiators include elite shooting efficiency, high-intensity play, and a team-first mentality that elevates bench performance. Though she wasn’t on the official Texas Tech roster in 2025–26, her prior accolades suggest she’s a strong fit for teams needing reliable scoring and defensive presence off the bench. With no reported injury history and a reputation for consistent intensity, Mitchell brings both skill and grit—making her a valuable asset for any competitive roster.
