Jamel Fuentes Brings Steady Playmaking and Two-Way Grit to Norfolk State
In the 2024-25 season, Jamel Fuentes gave Norfolk State a reliable backcourt engine, averaging 6.0 points, 4.8 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 25.7 minutes per game while starting 24 of 34 contests. The numbers say “floor general,” and the scouting vibe agrees: he’s a 6-foot-4 guard who impacts the game with distribution, toughness, and defensive activity more than flash. If your team needs a composed, pass-first guard who can set the table and compete on both ends, Fuentes is the kind of fit coaches tend to trust quickly.
