Big-bodied Fordham forward who once flashed double-double instincts
In the 2014-15 season, Erando Halilaj gave Fordham a physical 6-7, 225-pound frontcourt presence and briefly hinted at real scoring-and-rebounding upside, averaging 17.0 points and 5.6 rebounds early in the year before his role settled into limited action. His best calling card was toughness: he had a strong prep reputation as a high-volume scorer and rebounder, was twice named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, and brought a captain’s edge from Eleanor Roosevelt High School. He looks like a fit for teams needing size, energy, and a gritty interior worker rather than a pure skill-creator.
