Michael Allen brings size, upside, and a developmental DL frame to Liberty
Michael Allen is a sophomore defensive lineman at Liberty in the 2026 season, listed at 6-1, 230 pounds, which hints at a younger, still-developing body type rather than a finished SEC-style bruiser[1]. His value right now is upside: if Liberty is looking for an active, coachable interior or edge piece to grow into the system, Allen looks like a fit because he gives the staff a flexible, athletic frame to work with. The catch is that there’s limited public production data available yet, so he reads more as a potential-growth add than a proven stat-sheet disruptor[1].
