UTSA guard Zach Gonsoulin is a low-minute, high-upside shooter with a strong prep résumé
Gonsoulin’s current UTSA role has been modest in 2024-25, but his background points to a combo guard with real perimeter value: at IMG Academy he averaged 12.1 points, 3.3 assists and 3.2 rebounds while shooting 50% from three, and he posted similarly efficient numbers in high school and AAU. His UTSA production has been limited so far, so the appeal is projection: a guard with scoring touch, defensive activity, and experience in competitive prep environments. He looks like a fit for teams that value spacing, energy, and developmental upside over immediate volume.
