Southern Lab QB Rising Star, Not Grambling OL
Marlon Brown is a standout quarterback from Southern Lab High School, not an offensive lineman at Grambling State, as confirmed by his 2023 Sportsline Player of the Week award and state championship run with Southern Lab[2][4]. His differentiators include elite passing accuracy (4 touchdowns in one half), intense game-day intensity, and a competitive personality that thrives under pressure. He has no known injury history and is a high-fit prospect for teams needing a dynamic QB, not an OL. The confusion likely stems from name similarity with Grambling’s Kobe Brown (TE), but Marlon Brown’s profile is distinctly QB-focused[8].
