Valparaiso DB Jalen Allen brings depth and ball-hawking upside
Jalen Allen looks like a useful, versatile defensive back for Valparaiso, but public stat lines are thin, so the best read is that he’s more of a role-and-reliability piece than a headline-grabber right now. In the 2019 season, Valparaiso listed Jalen Allen in its football participation stats, indicating he saw game action for the Beacons[1]. ESPN’s current player listing identifies him as a Valparaiso defensive back, but available public profile data does not show a major statistical breakout yet[1][2]. If your team wants a physical, coachable depth DB with room to grow, Allen fits the “steady contributor” mold.
