ETSU Walk-On Forward with Untapped Local Grit
Adam Denison, a Kingsport, TN native and walk-on forward for the East Tennessee State Buccaneers from the 2013-14 season, averaged modest 1.5 points and 0.5 rebounds per game at 50% FG efficiency, but his high school pedigree as first-team all-district/region/conference player of the year (18 PPG, 5 RPG at Dobyns-Bennett) highlights scoring prowess and rebounding tenacity.[1][3] As a quality offensive player with local ties and teammate chemistry (joining fellow D-B alum Todd Halvorsen), he's a low-risk, high-hustle fit for teams seeking intense, community-rooted depth without scholarship burn—perfect for bench energy if still active.[1]
