Experienced DB with transferable value and special-teams utility
Wes Scott projects as a **depth-and-development** piece for Ole Miss, bringing the kind of older, game-tested defensive back profile coaches like when they want reliability and physicality in the secondary. His value is less about flashy stat lines and more about versatility, maturity, and the ability to compete for snaps quickly in a demanding SEC room. That makes him a sensible fit if you want a DB who can help on special teams, stabilize the back end, and raise the floor of the defense without needing a long ramp-up.
