Justin Hertlein brings veteran leg strength and roster versatility to LIU
Justin Hertlein is a seasoned LIU kicker whose value shows up in reliability and utility, not just flash. In the 2021 season, LIU listed him as a kicker who also handled punts, logging 51 punts in 10 games, and in the 2020-21 season he converted 1 of 2 field-goal attempts while handling 20 punts in four games; his background also includes a school-record 48-yard field goal in high school. That combination suggests a calm, adaptable specialist with real range and game-day flexibility.
