VMI DT Robbie Appel: Emerging Run-Stuffer with Untapped Potential
Robbie Appel, a defensive tackle for the VMI Keydets, stands out for his relentless motor and quick first step, making him a disruptive force against the run in the Southern Conference—ideal for teams needing interior grit without elite athleticism. No major injury history noted, his high-intensity play style shines in pursuit, though stats from the 2025 season remain limited in available data. Recruit him if you value FCS hustle that translates to special teams and rotational depth; he's a high-effort gem worth developing.
