Fordham’s bruising, big-play back still owns a spotlight
In the 2026 context, Jamaal Hunte is a proven Fordham back whose calling card is efficient, physical rushing with the ability to finish runs and pop explosive gains when the lane opens. His track record includes a 2024 season line of 194 carries for 869 yards and 5 rushing touchdowns, plus 24 catches for 265 receiving yards, showing he can handle workhorse duty and contribute as a receiver. What makes him interesting is the blend of toughness, versatility, and game-breaking upside — the kind of back coaches trust when they want a steady, competitive runner who can also tilt a game.
