Once a highly touted Hawaii QB, known for toughness and a live arm
Ikaika Woolsey’s best-known college work came at Hawaii, where he entered as a former national top-10 pro-style quarterback prospect and eventually appeared in 35 games from 2013-2016, throwing for 4,233 yards with 24 touchdowns and 28 interceptions in his career. His calling cards were size, poise under pressure, and competitiveness; at the same time, his results were uneven, with streaky efficiency and turnover risk. For a team, he’d have been an intriguing fit if you wanted a gritty, experienced signal-caller with upside and a strong football backbone.
