Zach Morris is a steady URI bullpen arm with real strike-throwing upside
In the 2025 season, Rhode Island right-hander Zach Morris logged 21.0 innings with 21 strikeouts and a 7.29 ERA, and he also picked up a save in relief, showing the Rams trust him in leverage spots.[2][9] URI’s official roster lists him as a junior right-handed pitcher, and he earned his spot after a strong Gloucester prep résumé, including a .435 batting average and 1.73 ERA as a senior.[1] He looks like a competitive bullpen piece with some swing-and-miss ability, though command and consistency are the big separators if a staff wants him to be more than a situational arm.[1][2][8]
