Tyrone Ross brings efficient, steady value in SFA’s backfield
In the 2025 season, Stephen F. Austin running back Tyrone Ross has shown efficient production and reliability, with 388 rushing yards, 2 rushing touchdowns, and 4.9 yards per carry across 79 attempts, according to the available stat summaries. He’s not a one-man highlight machine, but he does look like a useful, assignment-sound back who can keep an offense on schedule and punish missed tackles. If you need a dependable runner who can handle volume without sacrificing efficiency, Ross is the kind of fit that quietly helps a team win.
