Alabama's Towering Backup QB with Elite Arm Talent and Poise
At 6'6" and 235 lbs, redshirt-junior Austin Mack dazzled in limited 2025 action for Alabama, completing 24-of-32 passes (75%) for 228 yards, 2 TDs, and 0 INTs while adding 22 rushing yards and a score—earning SEC Offensive Player of the Week honors after shredding Eastern Illinois. His high school dominance (70.4% completion, 3,498 yds, 40 TDs in 2022 at Folsom) and flawless ball security highlight a gunslinger with prototypical size, mobility, and unflappable leadership; despite injury hiccups like a Rose Bowl fumble, he's a high-upside fit for teams needing a developmental starter with NFL measurables (79 OVR in EA CFB 26).
