Juwan Maxey brings volume shooting and secondary playmaking to Ball State
Maxey is a high-usage guard who can space the floor and create offense in bunches, with proven scoring pop from his Youngstown State season and a track record of heavy 3-point volume. In 2024-25, he averaged 11.4 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 26.4 minutes, while hitting 75 threes and scoring a season-high 29 against Milwaukee; he also made at least five threes in five games.[4] He’s best when his shot is falling, and his value to a team is as a perimeter scorer who can handle the ball, though efficiency and consistency are the swing factors.[4][5][19]
