Saul Soto brings late-inning bite to Hawai'i's bullpen
In the 2026 season, Saul Soto has been used mostly as a leverage reliever for Hawai'i, with outings that include a save against Gonzaga, multiple hitless appearances, and a three-strikeout, one-walk effort in 3.1 innings at Long Beach State. At 6-foot-5, he gives the Rainbow Warriors size, a live fastball that has been reported up to 94 mph, and a power arm that can miss bats when he’s locating. He looks like a good fit for teams that want a physical, late-inning righty with swing-and-miss upside and some bullpen swagger.
