Riley Childress is the Mountain Cats’ steady, senior-floor-general spark plug
In the 2024-25 season, Riley Childress took over Pitt-Johnstown’s starting point guard role and led the Mountain Cats in assists (118) and steals (45) while ranking second on the team in scoring at 14.2 points per game; she also finished third in the PSAC in total assists and assist rate, which says plenty about her value as an engine, not just a scorer. She’s a smart, tough guard who can push tempo, create for others, and chip in timely shooting—plus she’s been recognized for her academics, a nice tell on her discipline and professionalism.
