Andrew Pyszka brings pop, contact, and proven run production to UIC’s infield
In the 2026 season, Andrew Pyszka hit .273 with 24 hits, 2 home runs, 14 RBI, and a .386 slugging percentage in 34 games for UIC, flashing enough thump to homer in back-to-back games in late April. He looks like a sturdy, right-handed infielder with real bat-to-ball value and gap-to-fence power; before UIC, he posted a .357 average with 10 homers and 15 steals at St. Charles Community College, so the upside is not a mystery. If you want a physical INF who can produce and keep the line moving, he’s a legit fit.
