Senior Forward Bringing Elite Intensity and Pontiac Grit to Alabama A&M
Ikia Elam, a 6-0 senior forward from Pontiac, Michigan, stands out for her relentless defensive intensity and 'never-sit' mentality that transcends her modest scoring averages. While her 2023 season stats show 6 points in 10 minutes against Bethune-Cookman [3], her true differentiator is the high-stakes grit she brings every night, often playing with a chip on her shoulder after missing time due to injury in previous seasons. Her personality is defined by fierce competitiveness and a team-first attitude, making her an ideal fit for any squad needing a forward who elevates through sheer effort rather than just flash. Coaches value her reliability and leadership as a senior, proving she’s a perfect fit for teams prioritizing heart over pure stats.
