Rowan Irelan is a high-IQ, 6'3" guard prospect with proven playmaking pedigree
Irelan is a disciplined, pass-first guard who arrived at The Citadel after a decorated high school career as an All-State and All-Region Player of the Year and his school’s all-time points-and-assists leader. At The Citadel, he has been used sparingly so far, with five appearances and three points in 2023-24, then redshirted in 2024-25, so his current college sample is still small. The upside is his blend of size, guard skills, and leadership instincts—he looks like a fit for a program that values ball security, maturity, and system basketball over empty scoring.
