Lynsie Herman is emerging as UNCW’s steady-handed strike-thrower in the circle
In the 2026 season, UNC Wilmington pitcher Lynsie Herman has been a dependable workhorse, posting a 2.75 ERA with 60 strikeouts over 86.2 innings, and she’s shown the kind of poise teams love by tossing a one-hitter against Towson and earning CAA Pitcher of the Week honors in early May. Her profile is built on command, competitiveness, and the ability to limit damage in big spots, which makes her more than a box-score arm; she looks like a pitcher who can settle a staff and compete under pressure.
