Youngstown State’s Leon Edwards: listed on the Penguins’ historical record books, but current impact is unclear
Leon Edwards is associated with Youngstown State football, but the available information does not show a clear 2026 game-by-game role or recent stat line for a current offensive or defensive impact profile. What stands out is the lack of readily visible recent production data, which makes him harder to evaluate as a fit right now; if he is on the roster, the next question is whether his value is developing depth, practice competitiveness, or special-teams upside rather than headline numbers. In other words: intriguing name, but not enough public stat evidence yet to stamp him as a proven difference-maker.
