Army’s defensive disruptor and proven two-way winner
Josh Caldwell is a guard who made his name at Army with elite ball-hawking and all-around toughness: in the 2020-21 season, he led the Patriot League with 38 steals, was named Defensive Player of the Year, and also averaged 11.9 points and 4.6 rebounds; in 2021-22, he repeated as Defensive Player of the Year while posting 12.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 64 steals. He brings physicality, intensity, and production that travels, which makes him a strong fit for a team needing a rugged perimeter defender who can still score and rebound.
