A Tough, Fast-Rising LB Gamble for North Texas
Colt Mahan’s profile points to a linebacker with disruptive instincts, physical toughness, and special-teams value rather than a flashy stat-line resume. Reliable public information on his North Texas production is limited, but his reputation fits the mold of a hard-nosed defender who plays with urgency, finishes tackles, and brings energy every snap. If your team wants a tone-setter with upside, Mahan looks like the kind of player who can grow into a dependable rotational linebacker and core special-teamer—especially if you value effort, competitiveness, and development potential over instant name-brand production.
