Vanessa Espinoza brings scoring punch and disruptive guard play to Colorado State
Espinoza was a proven two-way guard for Colorado State, highlighted by a 21.0-point, 9-assist, 6-steal week that earned her Mountain West co-Player of the Week honors and by a career total of 932 points that ranked among the program’s top scorers. Her value is not just shot-making: she showed playmaking, ball pressure, and energy that can tilt a game without dominating usage. At 5-4, she was an undersized but savvy, high-motor guard who fit teams needing toughness, pace, and decision-making.
