McNeese QB with dual-threat upside and proven high-school production
Shane McCarley is a **dual-threat quarterback** whose appeal comes from athleticism and versatility rather than a deep published college stat line; recruiting profiles list him as a mobile QB from Manvel High School, and his MaxPreps bio shows he was a frequent standout with multiple Player of the Game honors in high school. McNeese’s roster page does not show season stats for him, so the clearest read is that he profiles as an upside, developmental fit for a team that values mobility, playmaking instincts, and a quarterback who can extend plays.
