BYU’s trench-forging veteran with NFL-sized power
Solomone Kafu is a former BYU offensive lineman whose calling card was mass, durability, and versatility: he played 30 games with 19 starts for the Cougars, helped power a top-10 national rushing attack in 2013, and later earned an Arizona Cardinals minicamp invite in 2015. In the 2014 season, he was sidelined early by an ankle injury, so the main question was always health plus consistency—but when right, he brought true interior-line heft, scheme-friendly run blocking, and the kind of background that suggests a grinder who fits a physical offense.
