Marquette's Monica Frede: Rising Forward with Relentless Rebounding Edge
Monica Frede, a junior forward for the Marquette Golden Eagles, stands out as a high-motor rebounder and defensive anchor, averaging 8.2 rebounds per game (3rd in Big East, 2025 season) while shooting 52% from the field; her tenacity on the glass and ability to guard multiple positions make her a coach's dream for teams needing blue-collar intensity, though a minor ankle tweak in February 2025 tested her resilience—fully recovered and primed for breakout impact.
