Joey Drayton brings edge-setting size and front-line toughness to Hampton’s defense
Joey Drayton is listed on Hampton’s football roster as a defensive end, but the most useful takeaway is the frame and role: he’s a 6-2, 250-pound presence built for physical, assignment-sound edge play in the 2026 season. That kind of profile matters because it usually translates to setting the edge, squeezing running lanes, and giving a defense a steady, hard-nosed motor guy rather than just a highlight-reel stat collector. If you want a dependable fit who can bring trench energy and grown-man football, Drayton looks like the type of defender coaches trust.
