Geoff Hamperian brings efficient frontcourt hustle and academic steadiness to Youngstown State
Hamperian is the kind of glue player coaches trust: a high-motor big who can finish in transition, defend with effort, and bring strong academic discipline off the court. His background includes a fast-break dunk that showed his athletic pop, and his repeated academic honors suggest maturity, consistency, and a reliable team-first profile. For a roster looking for energy, professionalism, and a player who won’t need the ball to impact winning, he fits as a steady depth piece with upside in hard-nosed, role-player minutes.
