Eastern Michigan DL Deshai Powell: depth piece with pass-rush size and recruiting pedigree
Deshai Powell is a **lengthy, athletic defensive lineman** whose profile suggests upside as an edge-to-interior disruptor, with listed measurements around **6-2 to 6-3 and 240-267 pounds** depending on the source and a recruiting background from Indianapolis/Lawrence Central.[3][7] ESPN’s current stat line shows **4 solo tackles** with **0 sacks** and **0 forced fumbles** in the recent season snapshot, so his value is more about tools and role fit than gaudy production right now.[1] If you want a developmental DL who brings size, flexibility, and room to grow, Powell is a reasonable “bet on traits” option rather than a finished product.[1][3][4]
