efficient, academic-minded, low-usage forward for North Florida
In the 2006-07 season, Chip Polite was a 6-foot-6 North Florida forward who gave the Ospreys efficient minutes as a walk-on, shooting 54.5% from the floor while averaging 0.8 points and 0.8 rebounds in 4.5 minutes per game. His value was more about reliability, academic discipline, and making the most of limited touches than headline production, earning Atlantic Sun Conference All-Academic honors. If you need a depth forward who understands his role and competes without drama, he fits that mold; if you need a high-usage scorer or rim-protecting force, he is not that player.
