Undersized Duke Scorer with Elite Shooting & G-League Clout
DJ Steward is an undersized (6'1"–6'2") combo guard from Duke who differentiates himself with elite shooting, a high basketball feel, and the ability to occasionally run the point. During his 2020–21 freshman season, he led all ACC freshmen in scoring with 13.0 PPG and 2.4 APG, shooting 42.6% from the field. His intensity peaks in high-stakes moments, evidenced by a 34-point G-League explosion in March 2024 and a career-high 39 efficiency rating in 2025. Though he lacks prototypical size, his scoring punch, perimeter reliability, and proven resilience make him a strong fit for teams needing a versatile, high-intensity offensive spark off the bench or as a secondary ball-handler.
